How has race been represented in our culture?

Race has been around since we can remember, yet it’s merely a categorical word that classifies a person into a common group. Historically race was more straightforward in terms of superiority and comparing the black to the white. However, today’s society and culture have lead us to be more socially acceptable and understanding of differing peoples values and perspectives.

Race ( in my opinion) is a subject that can be defined and represented in many ways, whether it is the passport that you hold or the identity that you believe to be true. However, saying that there is still common ground between morals and standards, for both the black and white. There is still a goal of equality that we have to achieve to this very day however peoples mindsets and cultural persectives are changing based on a realization that both black and white people have the same capabilities.
