The first short story which I read was called Premium Harmony by Stephen King, the story was quite interesting and highlighted the importance of cherishing loved ones and spending as much time as you can with them. This was clearly shown when as the main points of the story is when the main character finds his wife dead in a gas station shop, then returns to his car to find his dog is dead. This highlights the importance of the story that we should cherish time with our loved ones and not take it for granted.

The second short story which I read was called The LandLady by Roald Dahl. This story highlights the theme of childhood vs adulthood. Within the story, it shows how the LandLady is manipulating the boy and making him do what she says. This shows the conflicting theme of Innocence vs Adulthood. It shows how growing up can change the values and beliefs of us and it shows the horrors of getting older.
