The right to education is the human rights violation that bothers me the most. I personally believe that education can help people rise up from the circle of poverty that they are born into. My parents did not come from economically successful backgrounds but going to one of the most popular globally respected universities in India changed my father’s’ life and the opportunities that he was able to come across. Somalia has the least functional system in the world with just 10% of children going to primary school. These children are born into poverty and don’t have the opportunity to educate themselves and break out of their system. They have no chance to change their lives and are stuck in that cycle of poverty. I feel that there are so many capable and talented individuals that just need access to education to achieve their full potential. Education should be something that everyone in the world should have a chance to receive.

I definitely agree that education is the key to getting out of the poverty cycle. I like how you related it to your family’s personal experiences. Something I think you could elaborate on other issues that link with education.
