This story was truly crazy. About 5 years ago, Mr. Sweeting went with his friend Tom, to Myanmar. Tom is a linguist, he speaks a lot of languages. Tom is the kind of very adventurous guy, and he can talk people into anything. He wanted to go to Myanmar and find these 2 people in the Rohingya who are the last 2 people that speak their language. So Mr. Sweeting went with him. They went for loads of trekking and went to all types of villages.  Finally, they caught a bus that was leaving to the village. They were the only white people on the bus. When they reached and met the 2 people, it was very hard to communicate. It was also raining a lot. They were warned and were told to leave. Everything was flooding. They had to leave soon. They ran and caught the next bus back, which was leaving in 10 minutes. The water was all the way to the windows of the bus, he really thought that they were going to die there. After the treacherous journey, they got back to Yangon. He called his wife, to find out that she thought he was dead. He told himself he wouldn’t take this trip again because his wife and children would worry. He is still in touch with Tom, who still goes for all these crazy adventures.
