On the 7th of September, my band (All Known Citizens) and I performed at the fair to celebrate the 10th year of UWC East. It was an incredible experience. We played four songs, three of which were covers and one which was an original. I thoroughly enjoyed playing that show as it allowed us to gain experience and exposure playing to a crowd. It also gave me more confidence as a performer.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

LO1: With this being one of my early performances, I knew that performing music was something I am good at and definitely wanted to pursue in the future. I was proud of myself for learning the songs and being able to perform them at the level that we did but knew that there was still room for improvement for me as a vocalist.

LO2: Performing and music is a new skill I have picked up since coming to UWC and I am very happy with the way it has been going so far. Making a band has been challenging, but it was a task I had set myself, and I believe I have done so with great success.
