My group and I decided that we were going to focus on learning about the lifestyle of our client as that is the most important for a solution that will stay. We also thought that we should have questions surrounding all topics but have a high focus on travel as our client travels very much, waste/pollution is a major issue contributing to our ecological footprint. Food sourcing, gardening was important to incorporate because of options like hydroponic farming; sustainable water.
Our client said he built a house made of sustainable materials in his home country, this made me think about my own home country as I can implement such ideas in a rural community of Bangladesh. He said he travels by flight a lot, so we discussed a way to balance the amount of CO2 produced from the flight, by volunteering at sustainable farms in the communities at his destination.
