EE Day Reflection

This EE day allowed me a chance to more readily comprehend the criteria that my EE would be evaluated against and gave me a few thoughts on further building up my research question in the wake of tuning in to other individuals talk about their subjects. One thing I have adapted today is the various applications I can use to work out the approaches and subtopics that will make the designing and introduction of my article much more clear. Today I had the opportunity to understand the economics aspect of my world studies EE, which would bring into question the idea of “Development” Unit 4, which we are yet to learn in class. While researching the extent of the impact of child marriage on young girls and women empowerment through the means of unemployment, I understood the numerical value economics brings into question – if an issue cannot be measured to scale then how is its negative externality or impact supposed to be taken seriously? I am excited to collate the final parts of my research before diving into writing the first 1000 words of this extended essay.
