So far, I have been focusing on the content and the structure of the essay. Throughout the writing process, I ignored the importance of my grammar and how it affects the formality and tone. My main focus is now to check my expression and tenses so I can convey my knowledge succinctly. I have also forgotten to write an abstract.
My supervisor suggested me to rewrite parts of my introduction and context to have it relate more to my topic. My current introduction and context are of the whole book. It lacked direction so I will need to mention my exploration as well as key points on the importance of uniforms. The essay itself also looks wordy so my supervisor advised me to put headings in between paragraphs to organise my topics and ideas. Overall, the draft is a good start, but I will need to be cautious of my formality and language.
