In this talk, the head of campus came to talk about the experiences of going to a Rwandan school. He told us about how he was the principal of a school of 2000 people in the UK and that they donated their old and used computers to the Rwandan. When he found out he had to go to Rwanda in order to keep this partnership, he was reluctant. Not only because he had never been there, but because his mind was filled with many prejudice thoughts. As soon as he landed in Rwanda, he found out that all his prejudice thoughts and ideals were all completely incorrect and that Rwanda was quite the opposite from what he had imagined. This made me think of different prejudice thoughts that I have and how many of them are incorrect. Through the course of this talk, I felt that I wanted to improve on not being prejudice and judge people by their own personalities as much as I can.
