LO#4 COMMITMENT (Showing perseverance, resilience and commitment in activities)
This year near the end of Culturama, I had to show alot of commintment and resilience in this activty. The end performance week was extremely pressured with extra rehearsals and school work which was due during this week. We had to give up time on weekends which took away from other activites and also had to put in long hours after school. The commitment to the activity was hard but I knew that I had to follow through not just for my sake but also for the sake of the others in the activity. The choreoraphy requried us to know our spacing and positions well and so we needed all members of the dance there to help us visulise the spacining easier and to make the piece look put together. We had 2 full rehearsal to commit to after school and so there was also alot of hours we spent in dressing rooms and other spaces so it did require us to put in long hours. We knew that being so close so show week we couldn’t begin to slack off or take it easier and more effort was needed to be put into the dance than before. I personally had to re-aggrange activites outside of school to help with weekend rehearsal schedule. However, in the end I believe the end product was worth it and that the commintment we showed payed off.
