In the last meeting with Mr Zobrist, we have discussed the process writing EE. Main discussion was regarding the personal engagement and I talked how this topic was brought up from the personal experiences of living in Japan. As I have being involved in natural disasters in Japan and had the personal interest regarding the Japanese architecture Shigeru Ban, I was writing this EE with a lot of passion. Since I have also seen his work by visiting many places, I had respect to his work as well as his intention to use his professional skills to help the disadvantaged and poor. When writing EE, I was able to draw connections between the topic and what I learned inside the Design and Technology classes such as Life Cycle Analysis and eco design. It was highlighted in the discussion that it made EE strong that I actually visited the factory to get information and interview the manager.
