Steve Dawson is one of the bigger and more known journalists/interviewers in the sports world, but also beyond. He has interviewed many legends such as Beyonce, Steve Jobs and even Manny Pacquiao.
He came to talk to us about how he got so famous in his job, how he was able to get the best information and the best answers from the people that he interviewed. So, he gave us his top 5 tips on interviewing.

He also asked us to find an angle in what we were writing.
He gave the example of a fire. If there was a fire in a building, and you were on scene, getting interviews. You found out that there were 0 casualties and 6 injured, you got the facts on how the building caught fire and how fast the ambulance got there. This is great information, but it doesn’t give you anything special to talk about. You want to make your story different, so that it sparks something in readers and makes them want to read more.
