Going into options evening, I already had quite a clear idea of what subject choices I was going to take up and choose. Because of this, I only went to options evening to become more confident in my decisions and to reassure myself of the options that I am going to make.
By the end of options evening, I had become very sure of the subjects that I will choose.
During the talk at the beginning of the evening, there is not much that I gained apart from learning about each of the heads of the different components of IB, such as ToK, CAS and the EE. This is also something I would like to learn about more in detail. I am not really sure what the Extended Essay entails or why it is so important.
Overall, I am happy with options evening and how it helped me to be more confident in my IB choices.
