Memory

Individual:

The memories of individual people. The experiences and events they remember and the way they remember it. Even if their memory isn’t accurate, it is still their personal memory.

Collective

The stories, artifacts, food and drink, symbols, traditions, images, and music that form the ties that bind members together. The memories of societies and communities. They are a collection of several different people’s memories.

Institutional

The memories that have been collected through an institution. Because of this they are likely to be edited or biased. They may be incomplete or have incorrect details.
