Student-led partnerships with grassroots NGOs involve students researching, advocating, fundraising and taking informed direct action during Service trips and Grade 11 Project Week.

Students build ongoing relationships with Voluntary Welfare Organisations to understand, investigate and take informed action to help contribute to their community.

Students apply circular economy concepts to examine existing consumption patterns and theories of growth, to empower them with a sense of agency in making personal decisions and choices.

By embracing the complexity of natural systems, identifying threats and creating solutions to protect endangered species and ecosystems, students develop environmental stewardship skills.

Students develop practical skills as they design, implement and monitor initiatives that apply sustainable designs systems theory to enable the coexistence of humans and nature.

Students develop their capacity to lead all aspects of the Service and Sustainable Development programme. This includes a number of opportunities for collaboration between school sections.
