What We Do

Who We Work With

“The main objectives of Lamdon Social Welfare Society are to look after the moral, educational, cultural and social needs of the Ladakhis.”

We are Ladakh GC, a high school global concern service group at UWCSEA East. Our service group is committed to helping the children of Lamdon School in Ladakh, India, receive a holistic and enriched education. The Debate4Education event demonstrated the importance of education and critical thinking. Our annual Move to Make a Difference event also contributes to the cause of raising awareness.

The Debate4Education

We wanted to come up with an event that would raise awareness through engagement. We came up with the idea to conduct a debate on topics relating to education. This allowed for critical thinking while competing with other participants. Overall, it was a fun learning experience.
