Aspirations and Challenges for CAS (Pottery and Culturama) (Lo1, Lo2)

What are you looking forward to?

LO1-Identify their own strengths and develop areas for growth

This year, I’m especially looking forward to pottery. Since I’m doing art as one of my subjects this year, I wanted to do something art-related outside of class as well. I tend to prefer 2D rather than 3D art, so I thought this was a good activity to improve in that area. Last year I also did pottery but I did it for the sake of just doing another activity and wasted time there with my friends. We’ve only had one session so I haven’t started on much yet, but I plan to do some bigger pieces.

What challenges do you think might arise?

LO2- Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

I also tried out for Culturama this year, something completely new and exciting. I feel that this will be one of the biggest challenges for CAS for me. It’s less of the time commitment aspect of this that scares me the most, but being on stage in front of others and dancing, which is already something I’m not that comfortable with doing in front of others.
