In the first half with the 10th graders, we mainly practised getting cuttings and replanting these cuttings. We encountered many failures with dying plants due to improper growing conditions and insects eating them.

We managed to grow from the failures to develop more successful cuttings. Our most successful plant is basil by far. We went into the infant school areas to plant some of this basil to test if the conditions were good enough. The conditions were perfect and we moved more plants into the infant area.
