In this session, four IB students from UWCSEA East spoke about an individual story they wanted to share. James talked about his Youtube channel which is based on his ant collection. Zubin talked about his hobby of writing blogs about politics. Arman talked about his experience with East Talks and how it changed him as a person. Lastly, Tony talked about his linguistic struggles, when he first came to UWC he could not speak much English.

Four icons I would choose to represent four big ideas that spring from my notes are:

Arman taught me that the environment you are in can massively change you.

2. 

James taught me that there are many communities which are hidden amongst larger communities.

3. 

Zubin taught me that it is better for people to express and share their ideas if they are passionate about a topic.

4. 

Tony taught me that it is easy for one to adapt to change, it all depends on their initiative.
