Why is photography important

I have always loved photography, it really helps me look at things through a different lens, literally! Photography helps me look at the world differently and helps me focus on the things I want to focus on. Photography helps show people what is important to me that’s why I love it so much.

When I went to Scotland and England over the summer the places were very new to me and I really wanted to capture the culture in a different way. Anyone can take pictures and the great thing about it is that there is no right or wrong. Photography can help communicate issues, ideas and helps capture memories.

When I look back at all the photos I can immediately go back to that day and replay it in my head. Photos are like reminders to the past and in terms of history, it is very important for our ancestors to see what we created and then for them to look back and help improve the world. Photos have enabled us to understand how humans lived in the past and we were able to make some sort of outline of life so far with the help of photos. I think photography is a form of writing. “Pictures are worth more than 1000 words.”

Why is it important to have art?

This year one of the subjects I have chosen is fine art. Today I want to talk about why fine art is so important to our world. I have realized that fine art is one of those subjects that is underrated and it doesn’t get as much appreciation that it deserves.

Art has always been important to me as it helped me express how I felt not just to people but also to express my self for my own satisfaction. As a child, I was always so exposed to art whether in class or with my family. Both my grandmas are creative people and I have always grown up with that connection to art. I started going to art class at the age of 7 and to this day I still share the same love for painting as I did when I was 7.

So why is art so important to me? Well, I already said my family is very creative and that I grew up with art but not only that, art helps show my appreciation to people I love. The way I show my family that I love them is by giving them pieces of artwork it always puts a smile on their faces. Art is also something that helps bind our world together. You find art everywhere whether in galleries or in the theatre. All types of art help us express how we feel and it helps clockwork our important ideas.

So, in conclusion, what I am trying to say is to appreciate art more and understand that everyone needs it in life. Sometimes when you feel stressed or down you can opt to do some form of art, whether it’s painting, drama, designing, singing or playing music. People should stop doubting art and start looking at the positive sides to it because art is what shapes people and people help shape our world. I mean “Earth without art is just eh.”
