I have been a part of Blue Dragon GC for about 2 years. Blue Dragon is essentially a non-profit organisation that works with street kids from Vietnam, who have experienced mental trauma through child trafficking. I love to work with this Global Concern and the kids from Vietnam. Last year, we hosted a circus and arranged the annual trip for the Blue Dragon kids from Vietnam to Singapore. We also took various other initiatives that spread awareness within our community. These activities really inspired me to start my own NGO to help my community back home, in India, understand the seriousness of the issue of child trafficking. Not only did I start my own non-profit, but I also continued my learning experience at Blue Dragon this year. Though I am a remote student this year, and it is challenging for me to be truly part take in the service, I am trying my best to stay in contact with the teachers and look through the emails so that I can be a part of the conversation once I am physically back in school.
