LO5 – Collaboration
Being an enthusiastic English Language and Literature student in IB as well as from a very young age, it was a no brainer to be a part of the school’s online magazine. I had been planning to join the society but, I was intimidated by the writers in my year group. After constant debates with myself and encouragements from my friends, I finally decided (while still in grade 10), to go to the sessions every Monday. Without signing up first, I decided that it is best if I just sit at the back of the classroom and observe. My fellow peers were supportive of my decision. After six months of quiet observation, I finally decided I was going to take the risk and sign up in grade 11. Now I can say that I don’t regret my decision at all. I thoroughly enjoyed every second I spend in that classroom. The kids from my year group, are extremely understanding.
