In this unit in English, we have been looking specifically at the core concept of Representation, and how it links to other concepts such as Identity and Culture. We have especially been looking at gender and its representations in a variety of different contexts, including poems, ads, articles and more. In order to reflect on what we have done so far, I chose to analyse the following Fairlife Milk Ad below, and connect some of the core concepts I saw in it with other pieces related to them that we have worked on in class. I did this in the form of a mind map. While it may be a bit messy, I hope it helps you to see the connections I made between pieces and concepts and understand my thinking.
