My choice of human right violation: Freedom of speech
Among the four human right violations, I chose freedom of speech because I am worried about this the most. I say this because I think the materials can be more available to more people on earth in the future, yet it is hard to change the mind of people and a concept of government. There can be complicated reasons behind the banned freedom of speech, half cultural and half political, mostly also come with a long history. It is not something that can be changed casually, for it is also sometimes believed to be contributing to the peace of a nation. However, this is also natural that people need to express themselves. People’s perspectives are very limited without the freedom of speech, make them less accepting and obtuse. This has to be emphasized more and recognized globally.
