Great work on building such important connections with Daraja Academy. The issues of forced marriage and FGM are a reality that many people aren’t aware of and your advocacy for the school and it’s students is a really powerful step towards changing this situation.
Credit for getting such a sharp looking blog together – I like your instagram links and the content you are looking to develop but I couldn’t access your ‘About Us’ video. Would be great to hear more about the people behind the project.
Over in Switzerland, some of our students worked hard to put together the Youth Forum Switzerland this year and are hoping to make it an annual event. Thank you very much for taking the the time to read our blog. We are doing our very best to spread awareness about early child marriages and FGM in the community of Nanyuki where Daraja is located at. We believe that FGM is a practise that should addressed and discussed so no girl should go through it without full comprehension of it. So, we believe that education is one of the key things to spread awareness about such a difficult issue.
It would be great if we can work together in the future on many great projects.
