Run for rights is an event that is hosted to raise awareness about women’s rights it is set to happen this year in September and we are currently working hard to plan it. The event is where participants will sign up and pledge to run a certain amount they then have the responsibility of gathering people to sponsor them. This year we are teaming up with Ladhak and ACE to organise the event, all the donations are will be split between the three GC’s. While this event is only for the UWC community we are excited to be able to host it and Daraja is currently working on logistics. A bunch of us have also participated in recording sections for a podcast that will be played when the participants are running. We are super excited to continue with the planning for the event and can’t wait to host it in September.
