During my season on the varsity basketball team, I planned activities for myself in order to better myself in the sport of basketball with the hopes I can contribute more to the team. I planned a gym schedule for myself in order to strengthen myself and improve my playing abilities. The outcome of my planning was quite successful, as I found myself physically stronger than when I first started, I saw evidence of this as I started to play much better in our games and even managed to win a “Man Of The Match” reward for my efforts. My plan changed as the activity progressed due to the scheduling of games and training. I was following a strict plan for myself at the gym but due to trainings and games, I would be forced to change my schedule to ensure I was in the best shape for games and training. I would respond to changes in my plan by adapting to the situation and not getting frustrated as I knew changing my plan would be in my benefit for the long term. In future, I believe I would have the same outlook when changing my plans, as I feel that I was able to come to a healthy compromise that actually benefited me in the long term.
