Project Week has been a gratifying and thrilling experience. I personally feel that Project Week was one of the highlights of my learning journey at UWC. The first day we arrive we drove for around 7 hours, where we stayed overnight at Sandakan. The second day we left for our service. For the next few days, we were able to learn a lot about the importance of planting and how we can preserve some extinct tree species. One of the challenges we faced was that the generator was only on from 6-11pm. It was especially challenging with the hot and humid weather conditions.
