reflection on the first session and homework

In my first TOK class, I realized that this is a difficult subject for me. First of all, the subject covers a wide range of knowledge such as history, politics, and even science. Secondly, there is no accurate answer to every question the teacher asks us, which requires us to have strong critical thinking and think from various aspects. In addition, as my second language, I’m not proficient in English, so I often don’t understand the teacher’s meaning. However, the teacher told me many examples of himself and his own views on the problem, which made my understanding of the problem much clearer.

Knowledge is a claim based upon evidence to explain a doubt and uncertainty someone may have.

I believe that we living in this colorful world. we are curious about everything and we need to continue getting knowledge and improve our life level. However, no one can make sure everything we know about this world is 100% correct. So we need the evidence to explain why this knowledge is right or not. For example, in my physics class, we knew the rule of the equation, but we still need the experiment to give any evidence for this rule. And the teacher always said that learning is a process from “why” to “wow”.
