We have finally learned all of the dances. It’s really fun as I have amazing leaders and friends in my dance. I always look forwards to go to rehearsals. Now we have to try it on with the costumes. For the girl’s dance, it requires a lot of spinning and with the long skirts I’m not used to it and I find it rather challenging. The skirts which are lehenga can be quite heavy and when you stop spinning, the weight brings you around due to the momentum and it was hard to adjust to at first but now it’s much easier. The actual performance is next week and I’m really excited and sad because it’s gone by very fast.
