Brochure
- Left side, the colour is blue which is rather calming – SG is good, shows how her time in SG was amazing. Most of the pictures shows children who she has taught/ seen – maybe she became a teacher because she wanted kids but never had any with her husband as he didn’t want to (had kids with his previous wife), her students are her children and her life. SG was accepting of her and she found this place to be beautiful and decided to settle down.
- Right side, colour is dull and brown which looks sad and boring- shows her life before coming to SG, suggest that her life wasnt always pretty, that’s when she decided of doing portraits of real-life (the hardship of going through the war) than herself. Shows the big portrait which was taken when her career has taken off (doesnt look too happy although this is her prime time in her job – could be due to not fitting in as she divorced with her husband which was uncommon in the 40s and being the only female artist), target audience – 30s (those in the beginning of their career) – maybe to let them know to do something they enjoy and tp not let anything stop them.
