Culturama has been over for a while and yet I can still remember the sense of bond I created with the people I danced with. I can hear the motivational calls as we all go through the tiring rehearsal to prepare for the big day. This has allowed me to reflect on how grateful I am and how I have changed as a person throughout my high school experience. It has made me more aware of my surroundings and made me wonder what I can do in the future to give back to not only my community but possibly to my family. They have worked so hard to provide me with everything that I have now. Thinking back to the dance, the people in the past have created this future that I will forever be thankful of. It shows how much we can do if we put our minds to it and work together and I find that very inspirational.
