Emotional Intelligence

Through these lessons, the thing that I found most important was the fact that emotional intelligence can be improved through training. Before I learnt this, I had a notion that empathy and emotional intelligence is a inherent thing, which cannot be changed, and is just the way you are. However, I feel more hope about myself now that I learnt ways to improve my emotional intelligence, and put them to practice. I think I will be more mindful about what I do and what I say, especially when I’m interacting with my family and close friends. This is because when I talk to these people, I feel I’m more relaxed and therefore sometimes careless. I also think I can have more empathy when other people are having a hard time, because I sometimes find that difficult. In the whole, I hope to stay positive with myself.
