Chess is and has always been one of my greatest passions. I was really sad when I heard that there was no chess club for Highschool. I played with some friends in the boarding house but we all wanted to play against new people with different experience levels.

So one lucky day I read on the school online magazine how there is going to be a chess tournament!!!!

I was truly excited and quickly told my friends about it, especially since it was a team championship!

After qualifying for the tournament we manage to get gold. As the leader and captain from our team I was really happy to see how well our team did, we did not only finished first in our category in all of Singapore, we also grew as individuals and as a team.

I wish we could have played more in this past year!!!
