A new event for the Circus Club was putting on a show with professionally trained circus artists. During the annual Blue Dragon visit to UWC, they came up with the idea of putting on a proper ticketed circus show. This was my first show with an audience who had willingly paid to attend, as well as working with professionals who had skills beyond what I ever thought.
I was really nervous and worried if my skills on the stilts and poi would match up or not. As well as, the language barrier, making it a little difficult to communicate properly with the people from Blue Dragon. In the end, though, we managed to pull off a really successful show, with the audience cheering at every stage of the performance.
