After first day of swimming

I found it really intense and tiring. It is really intense that I am even thinking of giving up a day from 3 days per week to 2 per week. However I want to continue with 3 days per week and improve my fitness, so that is becomes less tiring and intense at the end of the season and later. I believe that this will be really really tiring, but I also think that this is the perfect time of year to do intense training, as the academics is not intensive yet and hard training now will help me focus on academics later in the year with less exhaustion. I am also excited that the swimming team is really professional and skilled, and looking forward to further trainings.

First session of SEAMC

After the first session of SEAMC, I thought this activity is very fun and enjoyable, and something I really like. I want this joy and passion continues throughout the year. However I might find it uncomfortable to go to other places with people who I’m not yet very close with, especially people in other grades. I wish I get to know people better and feel more confident about this issue. I’m excited that this is really fun and I will be able to enjoy and am looking forward to future sessions and competitions.

First session of HS Sonos

First session of Sonos was very different to what I thought, however was much more fun that what I thought and was very enjoyable. I hope, that I still keep this joy until the end of year and that singing remains funs despite of practices and singing in front of audiences.

I think singing in front of audiences will be challenging to me, because I am not used to it and I am not very confident singing in front of people. I feel that it will take some time to overcome this problem, however I hope it gets better as we do several performances.

I’m excited that I will be having many opportunities to join many other performances in school through Sonos, and I will have lots of fun

Beginning of my local service

I had my first and second sessions of the service. The service seems to be somewhat boring, but also quite interesting. I suppose the investigating and planning stage makes it slightly boring, however I see the fun and exciting part coming afterwords. After having two lessons, I am looking forward to meeting the children and the activities we’ll do.

Some outcomes (what I learnt) through the stage of investigations and planning include:

  • I can plan better with information and through the process of looking at the needs and what we can offer.
  • It helps a lot to set a goal and keep asking questions to deepen our understanding and knowledge of the target in order to make the actions more effective.

Some things I can learn from this service that came into my mind:

  • I can meet new people (children) and develop my social skills and collaboration.
  • This is a new experience that I never came through before in my life; This experience will make me understand better of the people with special needs and shape my mind in relation to dealing with people and knowing how to respect people of different abilities.

I hope the service to continue being very fun and exciting.

Desert Island Reads

If I were to be stranded in a desert island for a year, there are three books which I would choose to take with me.

GOTHIC IS A MISLEADING NAME

The first would be a wilderness survival guide, because it

would help me survive in the island. I do not have much knowledge in surviving in wilderness, and it will be hard especially without any surviving gears and technology. Although literature and mental health is also important to overcome loneliness and fearful environment, I believe survival and establishing the shelter for protection and relaxation is also critical to mental wellness.

The second book I would take would be physics textbook. I think that would be a great recreational activity, and help keep thinking abut something and keep myself focused on something.

The third would be a book about thinking positively, because it will be important to have positive mind and be optimistic than pessimistic in order to keep myself away from mental illness.
