ReCycle is a service which allows students to revamp broken and no longer used bicycles. Today is my first session- and it was fun. I already learnt something about fixing bicycles, and taking things apart and getting my hands dirty was surprisingly pleasant. We took the wheels off a bicycle and fitted an inner tire and outer tire onto one of the wheels. We started cleaning the bicycle and sanding off the rust- the sandpapers are probably going to be pretty much ruined by the time we finish with it. Overall, today was a great start, and I’m excited for the next session.
