Exercising with a Friend

Maxine and I have exercised together in the past. Although I enjoy the independence of working out alone, I find it can be more motivating to do it with a friend. Since I am more familiar with a gym setting, I was able to teach her about the types of equipment and lead our workouts. This time however, Maxine did some research and found an incremental workout for us to follow. We ran 800m in between each set, which tested our endurance as the runs were expected immediately after a set was completed. We worked mostly the lower body by doing squat jumps, alternating lunges, star jumps, burpees, etc. It was physically challenging as our lower body muscles were being used constantly, and sometimes we had to split the number of reps in half, especially after two rounds.
