The 2 most significant changes during the process of complete my first draft would be completely changing my method that was required to collect data as well as changing the perspective through which I wrote my EE.
I had to change my method due to the parameters required to show the existence of FTIR. Furthermore, I made mistakes regarding a few aspects in the experiment such as the gap between prisms which lead to me collecting data that was not ideal for my EE.
Moreover, I had to switch from classical physics to quantum physics. This is because the phenomenon that I was exploring (FTIR) cannot be modelled in classical physics. Due to this, I had to switch my approach to writing the background information as well as changing my central theme for the EE. Thus, in my EE I created this “classical vs quantum” as a recurring theme for my EE.
