As a first attempt I am satisfied with my oral exploration, however, there is a lot I need to work on before my next attempt. Fluency and cohesion I am not so focused on as these things will come with practise and more intense planning. One big issue I faced was my timing, I was not able to visit all the points I had planned, more significantly, I did not have time to conclude my thoughts. I only discussed context at the very end of my discussion and didn’t have time to fully develop my ideas around the global issues, I would like to bring these aspects into my exploration earlier on allowing me to further analysis their significance. I feel like I focused too much on the technical aspects and didn’t relate them enough to the deeper ideas that they supported, this lead to a lack of depth of analysis throughout my oral. For my next oral practise I want to focus more on relating ti the wider global issue and context, I also want to be more structure in my discussion and the way I articulate my points.
