Starting my EE research, I looked into several sports science and possible biology topics as to how to approach my question in terms of structure of my essay and how to investigate it. A main problem I have faced so far after speaking to my supervisors is the ethical implications that may come with writing an EE that involves me using people and giving them caffeine for my primary data collection. A step i need to take as of now is going to the biology department and asking them if I am ethically allowed to do this study. As of now, there have been no specific low points that I have encountered in terms of research for my EE but some specific high points I feel are the fact that I am able to investigate into the idea of a placebo and look at a subject that I aim to do at university.
