Half way into the year, Me and my classmates in the Rain forest restoration programme started to notice the lack of knowledge and awareness of the tree nursery amongst students, and even if they did know about it, they weren’t sure what it was for or what was the sole purpose for constructing it.

As a result, We decided to organise tree nursery tours amongst ourselves, bringing in groups of friends or our homerooms or anyone we could think of from the school community to give them a scripted tour of our nursery that highlighted its purpose and the key parts of it.

By doing this, we were able to raise a considerable amount of awareness within the community, with many teachers and students asking more about it and were suprised that they never realised the true purpose of a structure they walked past everyday.
