LO3_Initiative

The sailing team and the activity itself was going really well during season 1, where all the team had really come together well and fostered good friendships and team relationships. Being the vice captain of the time, I was really happy to see the coordination, corporation and team work with the team members, with everyone being on the same level with each other in terms of what each one wanted to get out of the activity. In order to continue to develop this team spirit, I decided to take the initiative to go ahead with the production of sweaters for the team members to take back to remember their team in this team. As a team, we were able to all contribute to a collective design and I went about with the help of the school to get them procured. I feel that these sweaters didn’t only bring us closer, but also made us feel more proud of being apart of this team, a team that isn’t a the front of the sports scene at school as it always happens off-campus.
