LO 6 Global Value

In Psychology Society we listened to different idea proposals. Each idea proposal was aimed towards raising awareness or helping a global issue that relates to psychology. There were a variety of different proposals, for example, Kindness notes around school, raising awareness about mental health, and making a space for students to go when stressed. All of the ideas were related to both psychology and global issues which impact our community. By listening to the different proposals it has made me learn more and be more aware of different topics, such as mental health and well-being. With the COVID-19 pandemic, lots of students have been faced with mental health/ well-being struggles, and being able to help people who may be suffering is an amazing opportunity. I really enjoyed being able to hear more of people’s ideas about how to help others because it is something that I am passionate about.
