Overall, between these 3 you can see how Boris Johnson is portrayed differently. The first one is more right-wing which is Boris Johnson’s side and they would want to try and defend him and prove its really good idea. It highlights the positives of the herd immunity in the headline so peoples initial assumptions when reading the headline will be that it is a great idea and Boris Johnson is a great leader who has the countries best interest in heart. Then number 2 is the more left-wing headline where it is slightly more targeting Boris Johnson and kind of playing with his words. Where they make him seem like the enemy and make it seem like the leader of their country doesn’t care about them. This makes people reading the headline that Boris Johnson is a bad person and a leader and doesn’t care about the country and is more selfish, and that he doesn’t believe inequality. Then number 3 is unbiased. All it does is say that there are plans to implement the plan and nothing about its effects and they leave that to the article. This headline doesn’t make the reader have any assumptions before they read the article. All it does is tell them that there is a plan to implement her immunity. Also, this does not target Boris Johnson positively or negatively where it talks about the government and one entity instead of pointing out 1 person.
