Through this activity, I  got a chance to work well with other well-experienced students and one of the music teachers for several weeks, where we met only once in a week to practice a song known as “Iza Ngomso”, that was to be performed in the upcoming concert named wavelength.Through this activity I got an opportunity of developing so many things, some of them were; forming new friends who were there to assist whenever I had difficulties in developing this singing skill.It was a bit difficult at the beginning to get to interact with everybody else in the group but through socializing I could make it after several weeks.After being able to interact well with others we could then work effectively as a group with the assistance of the Music teacher towards the good performance that we were able to show in front of the big audience. And this enabled me to see the impact and effectiveness of group work. As without cooperating and putting together all our efforts with everyone doing the best on her part, we couldn’t be able to make it as we made at the concert.

I also learned a lot about other cultures as the song we performed was in a native language known as Zulu spoken by a group of people in South Africa.Through this, we could learn the difference in cultures through experiencing their ways of  pronouncing words in their language that was completely differen† from how we do in English and how we
