EE day is officially over. What a day! Today was full of adventures, excitement and of course, a lot of work on my extended essay, so I am really happy to see all the progress that I made since this morning.

When I first entered the Biology classroom that I was assigned to, I was a little bit stressed. I had a lot of confusions and concerns about my EE, I even had concerns about my topic, I thought I won’t be able to get enough data to actually write my essay. Although, the confusion that I has slowly become resolved as I was talking to my supervisor and all the other amazing and helpful biology teachers. They helped me a lot and put me to the right path.

After the EE day, I feel like I can exit the classroom wth clear thoughts and plans regarding to my essay and research. I’ve learned so many things and had so much fun today! I’ve started doing my experiment, which I find super interesting and I really enjoyed working on it, and also being in a lab for so many hours. I am honestly really proud of all the progress I’ve made today, I started doing my experiment and got a lot of data that I can use later on. I’ve learned to be a little bit more precise and to not rush things. That is something that’s really important when doing your extended essay. The next thing that I will be doing is ordering all the equipment that I need for next week to start doing the trials for the different concentrations of ethanol. I’m really excited!

I definitely feel like I’ve been really productive today and thanks to my supervisor and of course, all the biology teachers I am now ready to start this new journey of writing my biology EE!
