In the service Lin’s behaviour I learnt how to communicate and meaning of collaboration. While doing service, we need to talk to these people who is old and lonely. Before joining this service I thought people in the world are not lonely anymore. However, even though the network efficiency has improved, but face-to-face can make these people feel more warm. While doing the singing activity , I learn how to communicate with elder people. Also, learning words to make people feel good. Furthermore, it build up my collaboration by we student allocation works. All reflections and plans are come up us and we feel reward every time our plan succeed. I love working in this service and it really enrich my worldview.
CAS activity orchestra
In orchestra I learn how to become a real musician and learn the music skills. While practicing our teacher will always tell the mistake that we make and tell us how to practice to get better, this brings us to the further stage in music. Also, is hard to be in an enormous group to play music and the school gives us a good opportunity to feel in playing as proper concert. The experience is precious and probably is hard for us of people who are not going to be a musician in future. In this activity I learn how relevant and how strong is when people collborate together, it was amazing.
badminton CAS activity
In badminton, it is not only practice the exercise skills but also patience. What we do in badminton is do the fitness training and the badminton skills. We learn from the fitness of how to keep being active in long hours. Also, we what should we do during exercise. For example, the coach will tells us to drink water at the mid-traning. Not only tell us when to rest but also teach us how to protect ourself. In badminton, what I won is not only being proud of joining badminton, but also proud becoming a real athlete.
How CAS impact/ enhances my wellness?
In my opinion, CAS is a impressive plan that can impact/enhances student in a good way.
First, three activities. Not too much. Furthermore, it can effectively make student involved in groups.
Second, three activities are in the different category. Therefore, student can try the new thing and find their own interest.
As a result, from a ex-American school student point, CAS can effectively impacts students in lots of ways such as make more friends and find their own interest. To go further, it will improve student wellness in a positive way.

After the several weeks I find Chinese is the really interesting activity to do in UWCSEA. In this activity, my dream become true- to be a teacher. I have find strength and weakness as being a teacher. Also I get to train patient when teaching the young child. Every time we will have over one hour to teach the child Chinese. The child that I am teaching are all having Chinese as one of their academic courses. In the activity it opens the opportunity for me to reach my goal in CAS. To sum up, I will try to keep it up to bring the best knowledge forward to these child who need help in Chinese.

I had a dream, which is to become a teacher. Before joining this activity, I hear this activity is about teaching young child Chinese. I have making my-self a goal in case, which is train patient. It is a good opportunity to train my patient since I am able to teach child. Besides training to be ”patient”, I hope it could develop my communications skills and also train my Chinese skills. I hope it will be the two way teaching because I am passion in learning how simplified Chinese since I am the traditional Chinese learner.

After several weeks, my thoughts on itp have not changed. Like what I had mention for the first reflection in season one, music is a mysterious that needing people to lead you in. Throughout these weeks, I do improve my personal music skills on violin and collaboration skills since it makes me play better in orchestra. It also helps to develop my communication skills because I have to talk with my itp teacher of the strength and weakness in order to make an improvement. As a result, itp improves my willingness of participate in other music activity, improves communication, collaboration, personal music skills, and opening the improvements and growth opportunities.

I had been doing itp for almost half-year in my foundation IB year(last year). The reason hat I ma join itp this year is to train my personal musical skills. It is the programme for student to develop their personal musical skills, and I found it was really helpful. I am also playing in orchestra, so itp do train me to play better in orchestra. I think music need people to lead so that we could improve. Music is a mysterious that enormousness might make you stress and not knowing what to do when facing the challenges. itp is the best programme that I have seen to help in music.

After several weeks, I have some thoughts on this service. In this service I get to know my-self more. For example, my real personality. I find out my-self need to pay more patient on doing activities with elders. By talking to these elders, it helps me to improve my willingness of participate in different kinds of activities. Also, to train our brain efficiently. When doing activities with elders, sometimes we will face some challenges that we might not able to resolved by our-self. In this case, we need to quickly grab somebody like nurse to help out.Besides doing activity with elders, there is one thing that we need to do before the activity start is to plan activity. When we are doing the planing, it improves my communication and collaboration skills.

Lionbefriender is the service that I am doing this year. The reason that I am joining it is that I like to help elders. When I was a child- I used to be lonely because my parents are busy, but my grandma always try to spend as much time with me. I feel thankful and so at that time I tell my-self when I grow up I will try to bring the happiness to the elders. Hopefully UWCSEA has provide this opportunity for me to be involved with lionfriender community and to help the elders. I am looking forward to have good time with them.
