I like the points about how the reaction would be different if she wasn’t a girl from the Middle East. I didn’t think about the negative aspects of social media after reading such an encouraging case but your points make sense. People are often very easily influenced by social media. It’s good that you incorporated some of Kenneth Roth’s idea as there are always two sides of the issue. Adding to your point about being easily influenced, people often feel pressured by the amount of attention something gets on social media. However, Al-Qanun used this attention to save herself. This was a very deep conversation and I enjoyed listening to it.
