My IO was based on an Eli Rezkallah piece, which in itself is a parody of a coffee ad of the 1950s. It went okay, but I feel like there were points where my ideas were not structured well, and I stuttered a lot

It went okay? If you don’t want to take the time to really think about your strengths and weaknesses, should I?

Could you be more precise in the intro. An add for what? What is happening in it?
When you are analytically describing the image – what text? What clothing? What furniture (you could call the latter two the mise-en-scene). HOW is the threat created?
Often, the response doesn’t really explain the effect of anything – rather it is just described. What impact does the inversion have? Why is he using it? What is being satirised?
Yes, I do think that I missed out on some of the key images seen in the image as mentioned (clothing, posture, even the furniture, giving it a period feel which I omitted from my IO). I do also feel that my points were all over the place, and even though I attempted to structure them, they lacked a bit of content in terms of in depth analysis.
For the next IO, I’ll try to add more micro/macro analysis, as it was lacking in quite a few areas.
